Every contact counts by Bausch + Lomb
It's now possible to recycle your used contact lenses at New Look, thanks to Bausch + Lomb's contact lens recycling program in partnership with TerraCycle.
How to recycle your contact lenses

Find a participating store
Use our online locator to find your nearest New Look store.

Collect your used contact lenses
Keep your contacts and blister packs in a container/bag.

Bring them in-store
Leave your waste in the box available at your store.

Repeat!
Repeat the cycle and start collecting again.
What can you recycle?
Only contact lenses and blister packs (from all brands) can be recycled through the Every Contact Counts program.
Important to remember:
- contact lenses and packaging must be completely dry.
- the cardboard box must be recycled separately (through your regular municipal recycling service).
What happens after?
Once your materials have been collected as part of the program, their journey doesn't end there! It goes through a transformation process to be properly recycled.
What happens to the waste?
Contact lenses and blister packs are sorted and cleaned. Anything coated in metal is recycled separately, while plastic lenses and components are melted and molded to create new products.
What are recycled materials processed into?
The waste is then transformed into a wide variety of new products, including benches, picnic tables, playground equipment and much more!
